My 8 Month Baby Kitten Needs Life Saving Surgery

Hi my name is Shelby and I have an 8 month old maine coon kitten named Odin. Earlier this week, Odin became very sick at home so we took him to the vet. After an x-ray and a few other tests, the vet told us Odin most likely has a bowel obstruction and has two options: exploratory surgery or take him home and hope for the best since we cannot afford treatment.
We cannot afford the treatment to save our baby's life and still afford to survive. We desperately need donations for surgery and related treatment which is estimated to land at about $10,000 so far.
We adopted Odin earlier this year after his previous owner did not want him because he is cross eyed. Since then, he has become a part of our hearts and our family. He goes everywhere with us; trips to the store for food, hikes in the summer, he even played in the snow for the first time last week. I cannot imagine my life without him being here, this situation is more heartbreaking than I could ever put into words. He means everything to me and my husband and he doesn't deserve to die.
Any help is so gratefully appreciated. We are at the mercy of other kind, good hearted people and we hope we can raise enough money to keep him alive.
