Starting from July 7th, I will be doing 8 triathlons in 8 weeks across Ireland.
This is in memory of my dad Tommy who passed away earlier this year in February.
While words alone can never do him justice, he was an incredible man with a great zest for life. It’s this love of living that has inspired me to undertake this.
In doing so, I want to raise money for two truly amazing organisations who were so supportive to my father and to my family.
They are Cork ARC Cancer Support House and the Waterford Homecare team (Hospice Movement).
Both organisations do extraordinary work, both for the patient themselves and the families affected.
The date and location of each triathlon are as follows:
July 7th Midleton, Cork
July 13th Letterkenny, Donegal
July 21st Kilkenny
July 27th Kinsale, Cork
August 4th Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary
August 11th Skerries, Dublin
August 18th, Clonbur, Galway
August 24th, Fethard, Wexford
