8 Feet of Water Due to Harvey

My name is Joe Thompson from Houston & I coach my daughter's 8u softball team and one of our players had 8 feet of water.....yes 8 feet....sit in their home because of Harvey & the Addicks Reservoir release.   Her mom's name is Irma Diaz-Lopez.  Look around your living room and imagine water up to the ceiling and then imagine if it took 2 weeks to slowly drain out.  All of your possessions are destroyed and you do not have flood insurance.  This is what one of my teammates is going through right now and they desperately need your help.  Their home is in the background of the attached photo which was taken 24 hours AFTER it stopped raining.  I'm doing this GoFundMe without their knowledge because they have asked for absolutely nothing.  They're just thankful to be alive.  Your generous donation will help put a small dent in their recovery and they will be the most appreciative family you've ever met.  

Every cent you contribute will make a difference and the money is needed as soon as possible.  The only possessions they have are what could put in their backpack before leaving.  I set the goal at $10,000 when in reality they need $100,000.  Your generosity can change their life.
