Eight4Elsie

In 2018 our baby girl, Elsie-May was stillborn, an event in life that you can never imagine you would have to go through. Watching my amazing wife give birth to a child we wouldn't bring home, walking out of the same doors as everyone else, but with no baby in the child seat. I am completing 8 challenges in 12 months to help raise awareness of baby loss. To encourage people to talk, because its more common than you can imagine. I aim to talk about the pain that is caused by having to walk the same journey as those who are able to take their baby home. Small things like using the same entrance and exit, having to go to follow up appointments in the labour ward, surrounded by babies. Small things to people, unless you have been through it and get it. All funds raised will go to SANDS charity and and to the Mary Delve unit at Torbay Hospital, both of whom were so good and supportive to us.
