A sibling for Caleb

It's a common thing to start thinking about children after being married for a few years. We always talked about having a car full of kids but after a year and a half went by after we started trying and we still weren't pregnant we saw an infertility specialist. It's the diagnosis that no would-be parent wants to hear. There's no chance of a natural pregnancy. Our only option would be in-vitro fertilization. After finding out the price tag since our insurance wouldn't cover any of it, we had to put things on hold while we tried to save up. Finally, 5 years after we begun this journey, we went through our first round of IVF which resulted in our wonderful little boy who turns two this year. We thank God for him every day, our little miracle. Earlier this year we decided to try again. Round two and we were pregnant! Unfortunately, the first trimester didn't end up going smoothly and, devastatingly, we lost the baby at 8 weeks. We, and our doctor, think we can try again soon but this last round wiped out our savings and then some. We have one embryo left so this is, most likely, our last chance of having another baby. Those of you with children, hug your babies closely and be ever grateful they're in your life.
