Sweet Pitbull Needs a LOT of help

Dear sweet Facebook animal lovers, This unnamed Pitbull was just found with a blue collar no tags in the middle of FM 720 in Little Elm.! He is disoriented, dehydrated l, mangy (though not sure what type,) and has at least one eye infected (conjunctivitis?). I an headed to Denton Animal ER right now to get him seen. I cannot bring him home in this state diy to the significant chance of highly contagious infection. I followed him off the road until he laid in the shade of a truck. Fortunately a little sweet talking got his tail wagging and he was brave enough to walk up To me and nuzzle my leg. I quickly slipped my work lanyard on his neck and coaxed him into my car.! Some onlookers expressed an interest in adoption or donating to his care, but I've seen enough of this to know it will take significant long term care to get this baby where he needs to be. Please consider helping. Just to see a doc at this ER is about $80, and I'm sure there will be plenty of labs, meds, shots, etc to come. Share this find and consider helping me help these animals.
