Retired Fire Captain and ROP instructor Jim Deaver had a major medical emergency. He had a witnessed cardiac arrest at his home with his wife nearby. Captain Deaver is in Critical Care and his family needs help and support.

On behalf of the Sanger Firefighters and the Deaver family we are humbled and grateful for the enormous amount of support we have received from our brothers and sisters so far but more is needed. Captain Deaver has a long recovery ahead and his family will need to be financially supported during this difficult time. We are all truly honored to belong to such an incredible family. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
