On the Road to Nationals

International Gymnastics is proud to announce that KAILYN CERRA TORRES has made it to Nationals, which will take place the weekend of April 27-May 1, 2016. As you can see, we are working with a strict timeline and Kailyn needs your help.
For the past three (3) years, Kailyn has qualified to Regionals, and this year, she qualified to Nationals, coming home with the Gold medal on Floor. Nationals will take place in Virginia Beach, and the expenses associated with this trip may require her to forego her participation.
Most of you have watched Kailyn grow and develop as a caring young lady and an amazing competitor. She has just turned 12 and is hoping to continue to grow as an athlete. She aspires to be a collegiate gymnast and has her eyes set on UF, LSU, and Stanford.
For those of you that don't know, Kailyn devotes a large part of her day training in the sport she loves. She trains from 10-5pm, Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 9:30am-1:00pm. The rest of the time, she spends online with her virtual teachers, getting her classwork done.
Admirably, while quite young, Kailyn has displayed the determination and dedication needed to succeed in all areas in her life, and has many aspirations, one of which includes obtaining a gymnastic collegiate scholarship to the university of her choice. These goals, however, are met at a high cost. Funds are needed to pay for local, state, regionals, nationals, international competitions, and uniforms for the competitive season. The upcoming National competition is projected to cost $2000 per gymnast (between flight, hotel, and other expenses). Kailyn is humbly asking for your financial support to help her continue to achieve her dreams and attend Nationals this year. God Bless.
