Support Estrella's Journey to Recovery

Hello family and friends, as most of you know, our family and community endured a huge loss on Oct 24, 2024, due to a tragic accident and also a miracle that day! Estrella Perea survived that accident by the grace of God!

Estrella has endured a traumatic brain injury that came with multiple strokes. She also endured broken bones along with several surgeries. She is pushing through all of these injuries amazingly but still has a long recovery ahead. She will require physical, occupational, speech, and several other therapies to get back to a functional life.

As all of you know how insurance companies are. They have declined all inpatient treatments for her moving forward. She has yet to walk on her own and still is being fed by a feeding tube in her stomach (it blows my mind that they would release patients in this way, but it’s happening). Estrella will be released from the rehabilitation center next week! This means she will need a place of her own in Albuquerque to get the continued care she needs to continue to heal, recover, and thrive as an adult.

Estrella has both of her loving parents at her side, and both are doing the best they can. Estrella needs financial help from her family, her friends, and our communities.

I am putting this together for Estrella so that she can thrive and live the best life she can. I know this may not be a permanent solution, but for now, things are moving fast, and financial help is needed. Let’s pull together for her as I know we can!
