This summer, I have the chance to study abroad in Germany to learn about international mass media and propaganda in a country that has shaped journalism and government in ways that still impact the world and the way we see it today. This experience would be a dream come true -- but getting there is the challenge.
As most of you know, I've worked hard to pay for college. I've covered tuition, rent, and even financed a semester-long study away program in Washington, D.C., all while balancing 2-3 jobs, school, and everything in between. Now, I have the chance to take my education even further, but I can't do it alone.
This trip isn't just about school for me -- it's about growth, perspective, and proving to myself that I can go beyond what I once thought was impossible for someone like me. I'd be the first in my family to travel outside the country, which makes this even more meaningful. Studying in Germany would allow me to see history firsthand, challenge my understanding of global journalism, and bring back knowledge I can use to make a difference in my career and community.
I know times are tough, and I wouldn't be asking if I didn't truly need the help. Any contribution -- big or small -- will go directly toward making this trip possible. If you can't donate, sharing this post or just sending words of encouragement would mean the world to me.
Thank you all for always supporting me through everything -- your love and encouragement have gotten me this far, and I am beyond grateful
