Virtual Tip Jar for Piero’s Servers

In the spring of 2019, our restaurant was greatly impacted by bridge construction and road closures leading to us. It lasted over four months and nearly forced us to close our doors forever. But, our community, near and far, answered our prayers when they heard about our story via social media and local news outlets. We thought we'd never see something like this again. Now, here we are, in spring 2020, and the global pandemic of the COVID-19 has forced us to close our doors for at least two weeks. This will be a difficult time for us and I am not sure we will be able to come out of this standing like last year. My wife and I, we may be able to make it personally--but as a business--we're just not sure. One of our biggest concerns is our employees. They're our families and what makes Piero's go. They have served you guys for the last 11-years and have sacrificed so much. Now, their livelihoods are at stake. Last year we all bounced back--this time with not being allowed to open our dining room, our servers will really suffer and have zero income. I am doing what I can to make changes in an attempt to make sure they have a place to work once this is all over, but keeping them afloat during this closure is going to be nearly impossible I'll be creative in my efforts and reach out to friends and family who may need their services, but for now, I have started this Virtual Tip Jar to help support them during this difficult time.
