STAND WITH TIM - Help offset expenses

Donation protected

On Monday March 24, Tim Taviano was found unresponsive in his dorm room at Michigan State University, and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital. Unknown of the causes at the time, this completely healthy 20 year old man, who is an R.A. in one of the dorms had suffered a massive stroke which has resulted in major brain surgeries to begin the healing process. One of the surgeries that he's had to go through is the removal of a portion of the right side of his skull to allow the brain to swell without further damage. The portion of the bone will be placed back in 6-8 weeks, and that is just the beginning of the recovery process. Tim's parents are staying by his side until he is able to leave the hospital and come home.

Tim is an amazing kid and there is no bad bone in his body. Tim was a standout soccer player in high school at Shawnee in Lima, Ohio. Tim is a sophomore at Michigan State and has excelled at every angle of college life, including academics, friendships, and leadership of other students.

Tim was getting ready to finish his sophomore year in 5 weeks, when this life altering event happened. Tim's parents Steve and Becky, who live 3 hours from East Lansing are sticking by Tim's side throughout this process.  Due to the recovery process that is ahead of Tim, we are asking that you come alongside this family to help offset the costs associated with this. Steve and Becky are taking time off of work to stay by Tim's side. Tim's sister Jennifer will also be working back in Lima on the weekdays and will be driving up most weekends until Tim is home!

When Tim was able to respond he wrote the phrase, Y am I here?

So I ask you that same question, Y are you here?  Are you here to leave an impact on a family that is standing together? Are you here to pour into someone who has poured out so much to others?

We know that God has worked miracles already, and will continue to do so!  As Tim's cousin, I have seen first hand the impact that this has already made on this family, and I am asking that we raise at least $10,000 to help offset the time that family is taking off of work to be there, portion of the medical expenses that will be incurred, and just simply to GIVE to a family that loves each other unconditionally and desires to stick together through this process.

No amount is too small, and the family is thankful to have you STAND WITH THEM!

Please share this with anyone that you believe can help!

James 1:2 (NLT), "Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. (3) For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. (4) So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything."
