I am raising money to make Tori's once in a lifetime dream come true. Many of you know Tori's love for dance despite her having a 4q32 terminal deletion which is a large part of the 4th chromosome missing. This deletion has caused her to have a moderate to severe hearing loss, low muscle tone, VSD (hole in the heart), VPI, overlapping toes, joint less finger, and very large tonsils (that are now causing chocking issues and requires surgery in May) to name of few of her medical issues. This condition has caused learning disabilities which make math and reading a challenge for her but for some reason music she relates too. It is very difficult for a hearing impaired person to be a dancer and add in all her medical challenges she still loves to dance and compete on the Performance Team. She had the opportunity this year to learn her first solo dance thanks to Courtney volunteering her time and talent to work with her. While competing in Torrington CT at Kids Artistic Review Dance Challenge on March 29th the judges saw something in Tori that very few notice. They saw her passion for dance while on stage doing her solo routine "Move with the Crowd". During the awards ceremony she was awarded a Top First Place Trophy, a High Score Award, and she was one of only three solo performers that evening given an invitation as an All Star Dancer to the New York City Dance Experience. This award was given by the judges for the dancers "passion for dance" during their routine. She will have the opportunity to spend 5 nights and 6 days at the Marriot Marquis in Time Square attending a Master Dance Class with the World Famous Rockettes, Master Dance Classes at Broadway Dance Center, attend several Broadway shows, NYC Highlight Tours, Tour Radio City Music Hall behind the scene, attend luncheons and dinners with 119 other dancers from all over the US, and a formal farewell dinner dance three hour cruise. This is by invitation only and comes at an extreme cost for the dancer and they must attend with a chaperone, plus the cost of travel to arrive in NYC. For Tori this truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity, please help make this dream come true.
