Maple Ridge is a high-quality golf course(co-designed by 1987 Masters winner, current Champions Tour star and Columbus resident Larry Mize) that's professionally maintained year-round,
with a number of amenities and privileges one might expect at resort-level courses. When you play Maple Ridge as a member, guest, or outing participant, you'll encounter a professional
staff that tries hard to make your entire experience pleasurable,
from the frontcounter folks to the Grille staff, from the course marshals to the beverage cart girls.
In August 2013, Terry was diagnosed with HCC, stage 4 liver cancer that has spread to his lymphnodes. Even with insurance the financial hardship is greater than what we expected. He is at the John B Amos Cancer Center 3 to 5 days aweek. Prior to treatment Terry weighed 214 lbs, his current weight is 155lbs. He has lost 59 lbs and alot of his hair. Terry is still trying to work, as most of you know he is a self employed carpenter. He is not able to take on the big jobs that he used to. Terry keeps a positive attitude and still helps a friend in need even if it's just a word of encouragement. He doesn't let this illness define him. This initiative was founded to offset the staggering cost our family has incurred during his illness. Christ has taught us to give and it will be given to us, Pressed down, shaken together and running over. Therefore we believe in giving back, so 10% of what we raise will be given to the John B. Amos Cancer Center in Columbus Ga.
