Shadiah Soliman's Medical Expenses

Dear Family & Friends,
We are fundraising for our loving friend, Shadiah Soliman. For the past 3 years Shadiah has had several health issues that have drastically changed her life. She has been suffering from severe pain in both legs for the last 3 years to the point that she can't stand for more than 5-10 minutes. Although you would never be able to tell by just looking at her, the pain is so severe when standing that she can't even do normal things like grocery shopping without riding an electric cart or even stand long enough to shower without having to sit down and use a handicap chair. The only way she can lower her pain level to a 3 or 4 (out of 10) is by sitting down with her legs elevated.
She hasn't been able to work full time in over three years due to her condition. She has worked with multiple doctors that have been unable to diagnosis the problem and therefore have been unable to treat her back to health. That is why we need your help!
Shadiah has always been an active, healthy person. Her kind and generous spirit are always evident. As a teacher, Shadiah has been helping others reach their goals her whole life! For years, she had owned her own business and became a role model for women and men around the country. Her medical condition has caused Shadiah to put her goals and life on hold. She is working whole heartedly to get her health back!
Our mission is to help Shadiah get back on her feet, and live her life to the fullest again! Her illness has forced her to deplete her savings, and rely on loved ones to help her pay her living and medical expences. The medical tests, treatments, and therapies that she has needed and tried are extremely expensive and most are not covered by insurance. We are hoping to raise $25,000 to help her cover her continued medical expenses and a treatment in California that looks extremely promising!
Recently, Shadiah was referred to a doctor in Santa Rosa, California, who has helped treat many people with very similar symptoms. We are hoping to raise money to allow her to travel to California and undergo treatment. After extensive research, we are very hopeful that this could be the doctor that can finally help her get back on her feet... God willing it will be! Shadiah has never been a quitter and this has been a trying time in her life. We want to see her healthy again and help her find a cure to her ailments. We are determined to help her live the quality of life she deserves!!!
