Berklee Bound since 8 yrs old

Dear Friends & Family members, I am writing you to share my great news! I have been accepted this fall to Berklee College of Music. Attending Berklee has been a lifelong dream of mine and today I can see this dream coming to life! I have worked extremely hard and have enjoyed each moment of my journey. I want to thank my mother for her continues love and support. I extend this thank you to my loving family and friends for taking this journey with me. I have had the opportunity to meet some of the best jazz and contemporary musicians in the world. While attending the Boston Arts Academy High School I have travelled to different cities where I was able to grow in my love for music. I have dedicated my life to playing jazz and have been mentor by some of the best musician of my life time. I do not want to jeopardize my opportunity of attending Berklee because I am not financially able to purchase some unexpected equipment before the semester begins. My mother is a single parent and she's dedicated to supporting my dream of attending Berklee but she is in the field of human service and her salary will not extend to these unexpected expenses. I'm asking you to support me in keeping my life dream alive and reaching my goal before August 28th, in covering my unexpected expense for a Berklee required laptop and a new trumpet.
