MINDY'S FIGHT

I'm starting this foundation for a close friend of mine, Melinda Odgers  that has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. I  am not able to take care of her or her family's pain away or be by her side everyday like I want to be, although i am able to help take away the financial strain that comes with times like this. All money raised will  go towards helping with everyday needs for Min and her family so they can focus on just fighting this battle. As the operation is too risky to be performed in the Townsville hospital, she is being flown down to Sydney where she will undergo a very complex surgery. The cancer has affected several organs in her body so she will be operated on by a hybrid specialist team of surgeons who will each perform the surgery on their area of expertise.  It is expected that the complex operation will take more than 12 hours and recovery time a minimum of 8 months.
