Family In Need!

I am stepping out in Faith to ask for help for my son Mike, his wife Ashley and my gBabies, Brooklyn and Kaelyn. Last November, the family moved into a trailer. Around that same time, the family started getting sick. It seemed like at any given time, one or more of them were sick. Kaelyn and Brooklyn seemed to have the lion's share, tho. We all figured it was the time of year, kids at school/daycare passing it back and forth. Recently, the illnesses have become more frequent, longer lasting and resistant to treatment. They have suffered mostly from upper respiratory infections, rashes and migraines (for Ashley). About two weeks ago, I told Ashley that I could smell mold in the house. She said she had noticed that the floor in the bathroom had some black spots and believed that they were just leaving wet towels down too long. But, then she noticed mold on the wall in the girls room and a spot on the wall behind the bed in the master bedroom. Today, I asked to see the spot in the master bedroom and when we pulled the bed away from the wall, Ashley gasped and said the place had grown at least ten times the size it had been just a week ago. The entire wall behind the mattress is covered in black mold and it has gotten into the mattress now, as well. Mike and Ash are working so hard to build a life for their family. Ashley works 30+ hours a week and goes to school full-time and Mike works full-time and is Mr. Mom while Ash is in school. Like many of us, they live from paycheck to paycheck. Renters insurance will not cover mold and they have basically lost everything. Once mold is in the mattresses and living room furniture, it can not be removed. Most of the girls belongings (toys, stuffed animals, etc.) will have to be thrown out and the mold has even gotten into a lot of their clothing. This happened in just a matter of weeks. I have set a lofty goal, but they have to replace almost all of their belongings, find a new place to live and have first and last months rent plus a deposit. I am reaching out to my friends and family and asking for help. Please share this with your friends, family...your church. We have got to get them out of that place before there is permanent damage to their health from the black mold. Any amount will help. Thank you and God Bless You!
