Haiti Internship with Coreluv

My name is Alex Merrick, I am an 18-year old college student, and I spent my spring break in Haiti on a mission trip helping Coreluv International. We worked at the orphanages supported by Coreluv and did the final prep work at their newest orphanage in Myan, a small community just outside of Gonaives. I was also there when the Myan orphanage received its first 14 orphans, all of them desperately needing medical treatment, food and water, clothing and hygiene care.
Upon my return back to Texas (and college classes) I decided I had to go back to Haiti as soon as possible. Coreluv has a summer internship program and they need guys, so I knew that's what I had to do and prayed about the surety of it for a couple of days.
I will be going to Haiti for the month of July 2014 and ask that my friends, family and anyone led to help, to please support my trip. There are several ways you can help: First and foremost, please pray - for me, all the interns who will be going as a team, the orphans with whom we will be working and whatever God leads you to pray for at the time.
Secondly, a financial contribution would be a huge blessing - I know that God ALWAYS provides, whether through contributions here or through other means of support, this trip WILL happen. And even though my employer is awesome and is allowing me an entire month's absence, I will be giving up a month of pay while in Haiti.
Finally, I ask that you support the Coreluv International organization. They truly are defenders of the orphan and their hearts cry out with Isaiah 1:17 "Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the right of widows". (FYI, the proceeds from one tshirt purchase feeds one orphan twice a day for 30 days).

Airline ticket $1,200.00 (this was increased by $400)
Expenses for supplies $300.00
