Jaxson was born on May 8th and diagnosed with Hirschprung's Disease a few days later. After a life flight to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital and an exploratory surgery, it was determined that Jaxson will likely need additional surgeries and a possible intestinal transplant. Until then, he'll use a colostomy bag and a specialized pump to get the nutrients he needs so that his body can grow.
Jaxson's mom, Christina Bonitatibus, has been a player at the Wheeling Primanti Bros. since Day One and is not just an employee, but a member of the Primanti Bros. family.
We're raising money for Jaxson and his parents to help with medical and travel expenses - as Christina has been unable to work because Jaxson needs 24 hour care.
