Hi: Family Child Care Community and Friends,
I wanted to reach out and let you know that I am fundraising to help Gina Arias after her 5-month illness with COVID-19. As you probably already know, this cause is especially important to me because Gina is like a sister to me. After Gina’s brother passed away from COVID-19 on April 3, 2020 she became very depressed and on July 25 she was admitted to Cleveland Clinic with health issues without knowing that she was infected with COVID-19. At the beginning of September, she was placed on a respirator because she was no longer able to breath on her own, immediately the hospital notified the family to start making funeral arrangements due to the seriousness of the case. The second week of November she got a tracheotomy to see if she were able to breathe on her own, surprisingly she could do it. At the beginning of December, she was transferred to another hospital seeking physical and occupational therapy because her physical abilities were only at a 20 %. Gina is not able to move or eat by herself. Since her Family Child Care Home business was no longer in operation no revenue is coming in to cover her bills and the deductible from her health insurance, I have created a Go Fund Me, which you can view here:

Quería comunicarme y hacerle saber que estoy recaudando fondos para ayudar a Gina Arias después de su enfermedad de 5 meses con COVID-19. Como probablemente ya sepas, esta causa es especialmente importante para mí porque Gina es como una hermana para mí. Después de que el hermano de Gina falleciera por COVID-19 el 3 de abril de 2020, ella se deprimió mucho y el 25 de julio fue ingresada en la Clínica Cleveland con problemas de salud sin saber que estaba infectada con COVID-19.
