Veteran in need of help

I am starting this go fund me for a former co worker of mine and a all around good guy. I served in the U.S. Coast Guard with him back at my first unit and with any military branch you find certain people you just keep track of, you may not talk to all the time but you still consider them family and with family comes help. So here is what i saw as his comment he posted on Facebook word for word. "On June 23rd I was diagnosed by the VA as having an unspecified seizure disorder. It is officially on record that I should not drive. Since retirement, 100% of my income has been from Uber and Lyft. This diagnosis has devastated me financially as I have to undergo a lengthy series of tests before my VA and SSDI status can be adjusted. I am at risk of losing my car, my house, and possibly the ability to provide alimony and child support for my children. I have never, and will never accept food stamps, government assistance, etc., that is for people who cannot WORK, I can work (I just might fall down here and there). It could be months before my claims are processed, my day to day living is feeling the effects. If anyone knows of an organization that provides loans...NOT GRANTS, I would be so grateful. I have always worked and need to continue to work. I want no handouts....I am just in a bureaucratic holding pattern. I have not seen my children in over 2 months. Any info would be so welcome. Thank you and God bless."  
He has also informed me that because he has a social security claim in progress that could take anywhere  from 4 to 6 months that he cant work at the moment. I told him this is not a hand out but people just trying to help. Anything you could donate to him would be greatly appreciated. He is a good dude having served 21 years active duty, He shouldn't have to be stuck in this situation. I have always been a fan of pay it forward and this is a great way to do it. I will constantly monitor this so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. All donations made will go to him.
