Help Tara get back on her feet

Tara grew up in Danville, went to St. Mary's in Lafayette and graduated with an Industrial Psychology degree. Her father (Eugene Cronin) was a successful civil engineer before he retired and died of cancer in 1998.
His wife, Gloria fell chronically ill after being diagnosed with Spinal Degenerative Disk disease just one year after Tara was born, requiring several back surgeries and eventually, long-term, 24/7 care. Tara gave up her career dreams to work in Human Resources and dedicated her life as her mother's full-time, live-in caretaker while her father worked to support all of them. As Tara herself, began to age while providing 24/7 care for her mother (and father while he was sick with cancer), she too became disabled and chronically ill. Tara didn't have anyone to help her, financially or physically and felt her only financial resource was to get a reverse mortgage on her parent's home in Danville to continue living and paying medical expenses. After Tara's mother died in 2015, she was able to take the little amount left over from their Danville estate and survive in a local extended-stay hotel. After three years, her funds finally dried up. Tara went to local shelters where she describes it as a sad scene with people even less fortunate than she is, with one or two limbs missing, severe mental disabilities, and drug addicts which only increased her fears of going to sleep at night.
Tara decided she was better off sleeping on a bench in the peaceful and safe town she's always called home instead of a depressing shelter with limited-to-no help.
Tara will qualify for state assistance but truly needs a community to rally around her. She needs some funding to help get her established into an assisted living residence, and people who can help provide transportation to the local state-government offices where she needs to file all the necessary paperwork to get the ball rolling.
Her disabilities require someone who can help get her into and out of cars, push her wheelchair and open doors for her. She's very intelligent, remarkably humble, and extremely embarrassed by her situation. After long conversations and time spent with her, I've realized she's not a woman who is looking for hand-outs, but she is losing hope and realizing she is going to die soon. Please find it in your heart to help this woman of need in our community and let's get her off the streets before it becomes even more tragic for her.
