Buddy Bike for Aushay-Adaptive mobility

Greetings Everyone!  I am so excited to announce that we are getting the very last Buddy Bike out there!! When we didn't win the drawing or popular vote I decided to contact them directly and discovered that they have 1 bike left in their California warehouse, it was a demo but happens to be in perfect condition.  We were told the next batch wouldn't be ready until September and the rates were increasing, feeling blessed! They have extended a discount and warranty to us as well. Mom, Aushay and I are taking a road trip, 12 hours round trip, to pick it up this Sunday/Monday. We were overwhelmed by the support and love in attempt to getting the bike by popular vote last month. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared our story!  We got 743 votes in just 2 days. 
Here is a little about Aushay: Aushay has a wonderful sense of adventure. He just turned 4 in February and is obsessed with bicycles and wheels, actually anything that goes around in a circle. He has mobility issues due to the mild cerebral palsy, legal blindness and a compounding rare genetic disorder called Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. His walking is quite limited but he loves to explore and so I have to push him in a stroller for him to get around with ease. The adventures we would endure on this beautiful piece of machinery are infinite. He absolutely loves bicycling but until now we had not found a bike that fits both of us on it safely.  This will be absolutely perfect!  It is a bike that both Pat and I will be able to ride with him too. I'm a firm believer that much of the stimuli our special needs sweeties should receive is from nature and outdoors, all senses engaged.
