James Evans Medical Relief Fund

James is a nurse with Amedisys Home Health. On the morning of 6/12/19, James was parked on the side of the street, outside of a patient’s home, when a car hit him, causing James’ car to get pushed into a telephone pole. The person that hit him was running from the police and fled the scene. James is currently in critical condition and in the ICU at Vanderbilt. He has multiple serious injuries, including multiple fractures. His wife, Tracy, has been by his side nonstop. James is a wonderful nurse who always goes above and beyond for his patients and is a very caring gentleman. On the day of the accident, he was just going about his day as usual and was trying to care for a patient when the unexpected and unfortunate event happened. James is going to have an extensive amount of medical bills and not working for an unforeseen amount of time is going to cause financial hardships for him and his family. I know he will greatly appreciate any help to relieve his medical and financial expenses.

Also, I do not have any access to the funds that are donated. I have set up James' wife, Tracy, as the beneficiary. She is the only one with access to the funds, so she can handle whatever financial business she needs regarding James' hospitalization, while he is not able to do so.
