Finishing My Bachelors Degree

I am trying to raise money to finish my Bachelor's degree in Biology. I know that it has been a rocky road to the finish but I have spoken with my academic advisor, and the head of the biology program to find out what I need to do to complete my degree. I have four classes that I need to take in order to fulfill my degree requirements. These classes are all available this fall and my professors have told me that I have a guaranteed spot in their classes as long as I sign up, they will waive the occupancy limits for me if needed. However, I cannot register for fall classes until I pay the school the money that I owe them from the fall 2012 semester. I have also been told that if I do not register for classes this fall that I will have to reapply to the biology program and meet the new degree program standards. With the information that I can complete my degree in one more semester, that the finish line is within sight and attainable I feel committed, inspired, and motivated to make the final push that is needed. I had felt defeated and overwhelmed by the amount of work that I had done and lack of progress I had made leading me to leave school after the Fall 2012 semester. I have had time to assess my situation and identify my stumbling blocks towards graduation. I have an understanding of what will be required of me and feel fully prepared for the challenge. During this trying time with Grammy, I have researched what it would take to become an RN. It is something that I think I would be successful at and enjoy doing. A large part of what has held me back in finding my way was just, not knowing what it was that I wanted to do. Being an RN would be rewarding and something that I could truly make a career out of. I have always enjoyed helping people and have learned that with only a few additional classes I will meet all of the requirements of an AS in nursing which qualifies me to become an RN.
