Hello!
This year I made the decision to make the leap to improve the quality of life for my partner and I. We moved from a moldy building that was making us both ill to a great urban apartment complex.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control our move cost us almost $3,000 dollars more than we budgeted for due to delays, flaky movers/helpers.
I work full time and my partner is disabled.
Currently we need to raise $2500 to finish this move and get our lives restarted.
Due to some unexpected extra expenses and a medical bill for me, we haven't been able to get our old apartment paid off.
Here is what we will be using the funds for:
800$ for move out payment.
490$ for med bill.
150$ for two months health related expenses.
300$ groceries/staples.
Half of any further funds will go into replenishing our savings and the other half will go towards regular expenses until we are caught up and have room to breath.
If I surpass my goal, I have chosen family members I would like to be able to support. Several of my close family have had major disasters and it is my goal to be able to help them as folks have helped me.
