We cannot express how proud we are of Cody, who is being given the opportunity to travel to São Paulo Brazil with the Cadets Men Freestyle wrestling team, to participate in the 2014 Cadet Pan American Championship, April 29th-May 5th.
This past week he has been at a camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and we will be heading there this evening to pick him up and head for Aurora, Colorado first thing Monday morning - one of a few places in the country that will grant him a same-day passport. After receiving the passport, we have only a few days to then apply for his Brazilian Visa. With so little time to do so much, we will be spending the next couple of weeks trying to raise the money to send him on this trip. As anyone can imagine, this will not be an inexpensive adventure and with having so little time to prepare, every single penny counts! It will be so hard to let him get on that plane and head to Brazil without us but I know that he is excited and ready and I honestly do not know a more deserving kid! Thank you all so much for your support - you will never known how much it means to Cody and our entire family!
