Our beloved Brother Marion "Mook" Crawford, Spr 2005 Lambda Upsilon, Montclair State University, was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease in October of 2012. At just 28years of age, he had just completed a career move to California to the University of Redlands. He was about to start his Masters Program when his kidneys failed. Brother Crawford had no choice but to leave his newfound life and move back to New Jersey.
Because of this disease, Brother Crawford has been unable to work for the past 18months. His health has fluctuated, but his spirits remain high. Brother Crawford still remains steadfast in his community in his passion for helping others in any way he can.
Please partner with the Brothers of OMEGA PSI PHI Fraternity Inc. on our social action and health initiative to raise money and aware for people with Kidney Disease. 26 million American adults have Chronic Kidney Disease and millions of others are at increased risk. Monies raised will be distributed between Brother Marion "Mook" Crawford and NJ Sharing Network for further research on Kidney Disease. Those who donate $500 or more will be recognized on our state website,http://www.jerseyques.org/.

Information on Kidney Disease
Chronic kidney disease includes conditions that damage your kidneys and decrease their ability to keep you healthy by doing the jobs listed. If kidney disease gets worse, wastes can build to high levels in your blood and make you feel sick. You may develop complications like high blood pressure, anemia (low blood count), weak bones, poor nutritional health and nerve damage. Also, kidney disease increases your risk of having heart and blood vessel disease. These problems may happen slowly over a long period of time. Chronic kidney disease may be caused by diabetes, high blood pressure and other disorders. Early detection and treatment can often keep chronic kidney disease from getting worse. When kidney disease progresses, it may eventually lead to kidney failure, which requires dialysis or a kidney transplant to maintain life.
