Salzburg Summer Opera Program

This page is geared toward raising money to travel to Salzburg, Austria to participate in a summer opera workshop with the Franco-American Vocal Academy. The workshop will involve a curriculum consisting of German language and diction classes, voice lessons, voice coachings, role preparation, and will conclude with performances of a full opera. If I am able to go, I will be playing the role of Tamino in Mozart's opera Die Zauberflote. Over the course of the four weeks, I would learn and memorize the music as well as stage the entire opera, all while incorporating the curriculum material.This experience would give me incredibly valuable experience in a field that I will be going into. Additionally, it would greatly prepare me for next Fall, when I will be entering my first year of graduate school for Voice and Opera.
