Exhibition in China

I am an artist from Greenland. Living nature and man as nature is at focus on my paintings. When you look at greenlandic nature - like icebergs reflecting in the water - realism/surrealism and reality/ mythology is connected in another way than in western tradition. I believe this is a key understanding greenlandic mind and gives a new perspective on how to deal with nature and human mind.

I was accepted to exhibit my paintings at the Dounan  Art Museum in Kunming, China, which will take place from 8.8-2018 to 09.28-2018. The theme of the exhibition is about global warming which  suits me perfectly in relation to my profile described above. This is my first attempt to exhibit outside Denmark.  This would be my biggest dream come true and could be the beginning for me to be an artist on an international scale.

Pashmin Art, which is a gallery in Hamburg, has specialised on connecting and promoting artists from all over the world.  The concept is, that the cost of transportation and promotion  is paid by the artist herself. The exihibtion in China amounts to 5800 €, and I have only two weeks to pay for this exhibition.
