Hospital/surgery fees

My friends and I would like to help our friend who was hospitalized at KU med to help pay for his medical fees. He broke his jaw and and a hole in his airway, got 3 metal plates and screws all along his jaw and will probably no longer have feeling and will always be numb. Anything will help, and his family would very much appreciate it. Thank you!
