Help Melissa Beat Triple Negative Breast Cancer!

Dear Friends,
I am reaching out to you on behalf of my better-half, my soulmate, my best friend, and warrior-wife who is courageously fighting triple-negative-breast-cancer (TNBC) for the “second time”. The first bout started in May 2018 and news of having stage 3 TNBC devastated our family on many levels. For one, TNBC is aggressive, difficult to treat and recurrence is almost guaranteed. It was a tough diagnosis and during this time, our 14-year old daughter Giana, struggled through middle school, I became the sole provider and caregiver, and my wife was forced to fight the biggest fight of her life.
After a recent checkup last month Melissa received news that the cancer returned and spread to her lungs and brain. Her doctor immediately recommended chemotherapy with a new immunotherapy drug. But after experiencing the effects of chemo that led to frequent emergency room visits last year, conventional chemotherapy this time around is not a viable option.
Alternative and non-conventional treatment that focuses on the genetics of TNBC is available and effective - but it is not cheap. As the sole provider, the cost of treatment is out of pocket and more than I can afford alone, so I am reaching out to you to help Melissa get integrative treatment in Scottsdale, Arizona (Envita). Treatment ranges between $80K and $120K for 3 months and does not include basic funds for food, transportation, and lodging. Again, this approach is expensive but “urgent”.
Melissa will fight without question! My prayer is to partner with you to fight alongside my wife to give her the best cancer care she can get for her cancer type. It is clear that the top cancer hospitals in the nation are not equipped to properly treat TNBC, so I am prepared to do what it takes to give Melissa the best possible chance to win this fight. I will do this because our love spans 24 great years together. I do this for our daughter who is afraid to lose her mom. I do this because I have faith in alternative treatments when conventional treatments failed us. And I do this because I truly believe that we can reverse her stage 4 diagnosis with a team of caring hearts! I do all of this because I love Melissa!
