About Us
THE ESTABLiSHED FACTS (www.theestablishedfacts.com) is a general gaming podcast that discusses all things that encompass the world of games and gaming. The ESTABLiSHED FACTS cast of personalities has a strong background in role-playing games, however, they don't discriminate against games of any kind. Within the cast you will find representatives of almost all game types from video gaming, to computer gaming, card and board game playing, and even some LARPing. We also attempt to promote those members of the gamer sub-culture that influence the games we play and the hobbies and worlds we have grown to love.
Our Current Mission
May 30- June 1 is Indy PopCon and our podcast would like to host a booth in the exhibit hall for this inagural convention of geeks. In order to do so it is going to cost us $150 for a regular booth or $200 for a corner booth. We also need new business cards, promotional dice, and a spiffy banner. All this brings our total up to around $650. Then there is the 5% fee to GoFundMe and taxes. Thus - $700
We get together around the mics and talk about all things gaming, because it is a hobby we enjoy immensely. And we want to share that with as many people out there as possible. So we need to get our name out and conventions like Indy PopCon will allow us to do that. None of us get paid for doing the podcast. So we need to ask the community for help. Please help us get to Indy PopCon.
Any additional funds that we collect will go to equipment replacement and additional promotional material. Currently the biggest concern is the mic preamp that died on us. About a $300 expense.
