I miss his smile that could light up a room, his voice calling my name (mom) his big tight hugs that made everything feel okay. I replay the memories we shared, holding onto them TIGHT the sound of his laughter, the way his eyes lit up when he would see me or when he talked about the things he loved, the comfort of just being near him. it feels impossible to keep going without him in this lifetime yet I do and will, because I know that’s what he would want for me to live in a way that honors his spirit.
