I'M BIKE RACING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR RADFORD HALL/THE NORTH HOLLYWOOD RECOVERY GROUP
I'm pedaling across America to raise funds so that there is always a place where a person in need can find a solution, a hot cup of coffee, and a fresh start. That place for me was Radford Hall. 100% of all funds raised during my Race will be donated to The North Hollywood Group to help them continue their wonderful legacy of hope.
On June 7th, 2014 I will eagerly pedal out from the Pacific Coast city of Astoria, Oregon on the 4,233 mile Trans-America Bike Race that finishes in the Atlantic Coast city of Yorktown, Virginia. The life I have today and the journey I'm about to embark on has been 26 years in the making. It started in May of 1987, when a 23 year old kid, who's life had become just a dufflebag full of clothes and a 10 speed bike walked into RADFORD HAll and discoved a solution to his drinking problem. I owe my life to the welcoming smiles ,hot cups of coffee and safe surroundings I found there.
My fundraising goal is $4233.00. Please help me meet my goal of raising one dollar for every mile of the bike race.
