World Record and Barrie Out of the Cold

For those of you who know me or follow my crazy life you may know that I have been dreaming about trying something really off the wall.  For the past 12 years I have imagined myself breaking a world record...and a very specific record at that.  So, what better way to celebrate my 40th birthday than to break a seven year old record of dribbling a basketball for 24 hours for distance.  The current record is 177km.   The date to break the record is July 19th to the 20th.  The event will take place at Georgian College with friends and family who can watch, join and cheer me on!

What some of you may not know, is that I have recently started volunteering with Barrie out of the cold.  Meeting so many people in such an unfortnate situation has touched me in a way that I never thought it would.  So, I would like to take the opportunity to also raise money for them.

My goal is to raise at least $2000 to go towards my world record attempt and to Barrie out of the cold.  I would really appreciate anything you can donate and I would love to see you at Georgian College on July 19th to walk a lap with me while I work towards beating this world record....and just maybe there will be CAKE!
