Funeral Costs/Living Expenses

My father Ronald David Popp passed away on March 21st, 2014 at the age of 66. He was in the hospital since November 22nd 2013 and never came home. Although he went in for a broken hip, he had complications and had a lot of problems breathing. The hip surgery aggravated his already weak lungs and he just kept getting weaker and weaker. His heart could not take it anymore and he passed peacefully at Kindred Hospital in San Leandro. We were told no hospital in the world could have saved him.
My mom and I are deeply saddened but there is also a sense of relief knowing that he will no longer suffer, as it was very apparent he was suffering more and more each day.
Unfortunately, funerals of any kind are not cheap and the recession took away the life insurance and extra money that we had. My mom is on social security and is disabled and cannot work. I work 40-44 hours a week and I barely make enough to support myself, let alone my mother as well.
Most of the funds raised will be to cover the funeral arrangements. The rest that is raised will help my mom and I pay bills and use towards living expenses. We really need your help.
