Help Me Pay for My Medical Bills

Hi, everyone. I'm Andres Tomas Gonzalez. I'm located near the Houston Metro Area. The past two years have been very difficult for me financially. In the Spring of 2021, I was laid off from my day job when ownership changed and the new management decided to replace everyone in a sneaky way that made us ineligible for unemployment. Besides the loss of regular income, I lost my shipping perks that were useful in my everyday life. My income since has been from Disability Income (DI) and gig work. I was not entitled to the full stimulus due to my income bracket.

During this time, both of my parents developed illnesses that caused them to lose work and/or become bed-bound. I had to make several monetary contributions to make sure things were running in our household. This burden ran my bank account into the red more than once and put me in a position where I was unable to pay for daily expenses.

Afterwards, I was hospitalized twice. Once for a mosquito-borne illness and once for a case of bronchitis that was aggravated by long-Covid. This bronchitis was so bad that I coughed up blood and stopped breathing. The doctor made me aware that if I did not get treatment from medical health professionals I probably would have died.

I have been uninsured for several years. This has caused my medical expenses to reach a point that I cannot possibly pay them back without any kind of outside assistance. In the past few months, I have received nearly daily harassing phone calls and e-mails threatening me for not having paid back the bills. In addition, I have no one in my immediate family who can help me. Please help me clear my medical debt.
