Thanks to some WONDERFUL patrons last year, I was able to take an amazing journey to Vassar in Poughkeepsie, New York for 6 weeks of acting with the Powerhouse Apprenticeship company. I can honestly say that trip changed my life. It opened so many doors for me, allowed me meet so many new people, that I will always be grateful to those who helped send me there.
A direct result of my time at Vassar is another incredible opportunity. I have been accepted to the Stella Adler Summer Conservatory! Tuition for this program is $3,500, not including room and board. I need to find my own place to live in the city (if anyone has any suggestions, I'm listening!) and I need to be able to pay for that and food. I'm hoping to get a temp job somewhere in the city (Again, if anyone has any suggestions or openings, I'm all ears!!) but there is no guarantee that I will have time or the ability to secure a job. So I turn to you, the community, to help me take the next step.
