Calvin and Adrian Relief Fund

This page is to raise funds to help out my friend Calvin and his newborn daughter Adrian. In less than a week, Calvin became a new father, and suddenly lost the love of his life (his amazing wife Pakwai). Tragically, their daughter Adrian will never know her mother, and Calvin himself doesn't even have any video or recordings of her voice. I cannot imagine what he is going through.

I live far away, and am a student, so my ability to help him bear this burden is limited. However, the incredible Shack community has exhorted me to set up this donation page. I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for offering to help. This will mean the world to Calvin, and to his little daughter. He needs every iota of support he can get right now, and this will make a real difference in their lives.

The funds will be used to support Calvin and Adrian over the next little while so he can get back on his feet. Shackers have suggested things like a regular cleaning service, and practical items like diapers etc.  I'll do exactly these things, plus maybe introduce Calvin to the Shack (He and Pakwai were avid gamers, especially board games). Let me know if you have other suggestions on how to use the money raised!

You guys are an amazing community, and I am so lucky to have you all in my life. I could never expect anyone to donate to a total stranger, and I am overwhelmed that you have all offered to do so. Thank you for everything.
