Moose’s Vet Bills

Moose is a 1 year old husky/lab that was hit by a truck yesterday on Conroy road, right outside Conroy Pit dog park in Ottawa. His mom and dad were taking him there for an early birthday celebration, but they never made it to the party. They took him directly to the Alta Vista Animal Hospital where he was diagnosed with a broken femur, a punctured lung, and bruising on his lungs. He was subsequently admitted into the Intensive Care Unit. So far the updates on his status have been promising, and we are optimistic that he will make a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, the vet bill is already higher than expected, even before he has undergone surgery. In order to meet the financial demands for his much needed care, we are starting this page in case anyone is willing and able to donate to the cause. Moose and his family would be forever grateful.
