A Message From Holly...
Dear Friends and Family,
If you have not yet heard, the Grants Pass High School Marching Band has been invited to Washington D.C. to march in the National Cherry Blossom Festival and Parade and play at various National Landmarks and other events in the D.C. area in mid-April, 2015.
As many of you know, I have been in various band programs at GPHS including Marching, Concert, Basketball Pep, and Jazz Bands since my Freshman year as well as the Wind Ensemble. This event will occur during my Senior year. I have a deep love of music and am looking forward to this opportunity very much! If any of you feel it in your heart and you are able to help, I would be so incredibly greatful.
I will be working many fund raisers and attempting to earn the money on my own as well and my Mom is doing Direct Sales with a jewelery product with all of her earnings going towards the cost as well. With at least 140 other band members attempting to raise the same amount of money, we have a lot of work ahead of us so every little bit will help me reach my dream!
