Help Moose Get Back on His Paws!

Hi everyone,

I never planned on being a dog dad, but life had other plans. A few years ago, my friend found Moose tied to a tree in the middle of the woods, abandoned and scared. I knew he needed a good home, and I could give him that. From the moment he became part of my life, Moose has been my best friend—his endless energy, goofy personality, and loving heart have made him a one-of-a-kind companion. Anyone who has met him knows just how special he is.

Earlier this winter, Moose took a bad fall while playing his favorite game—fetch. Since then, he’s been limping, and after a vet visit, we learned he has a partially torn CCL (the dog version of an ACL). While we initially opted for rest and recovery, hoping it would heal, the damage is permanent. The vet warned that he would likely develop arthritis and other issues over time, and unfortunately, today, he re-injured the leg.

Now, the only real solution is surgery, which I am prepared to cover. However, the post-surgery physical therapy and extended care he needs to fully recover are expensive. I want to give Moose the best possible chance at a pain-free, active life, which is why I’m starting this GoFundMe.
