Helping Hurricane Harvey

On August 29, 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit land and damaged the lives of millions. Now 12 years later, an even stronger hurricane hit land leaving several dead and thousands homeless. Unexpectedly, Hurricane Harvey hit as a Category 4. With heavy rains, floods are continuing to impact the Houston region. Texans have nearly lost everything, shelters are being flooded with more people they can hold and there are not enough boats to save everyone. Not only are the people of Texas in need of our help, but also the animals. Animals have been stuck at shelters with rising water levels, with no one to come to the rescue. Our goal is to raise money for the organizations that are using 100% of the funds to go towards victims and animals! Proceeds will go to these Nonprofit Organizations: Global Giving, Convoy of hope, (ASPCA) American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and Harris County Animal Shelter, Dallas dogs.

Lyna, Katy & myself came up with a long list of amazing charities that we fully trust to use these funds to go DIRECTLY to the victims. We are hoping to donate as much as possible to these charities in a short amount of time which is why we created this page. Gofundme does take 5% of the proceeds & the three of us have put in more than enough money to cover the administrative fees if we hit our goal of $15,000. Every single dollar that is donated will go directly to help the people & animals of Houston. Please help us help those in need. Any amount is a generous amount, thank you!
