Girlguiding Inverness-shire's county camp (Nesstival) is happening next year and we all want to go!
The distance between our unit meeting and camp is 37 miles. The average walking speed is 3 miles per hour. This means it would take 24 hours and 40 minutes to walk there and back. This month, we are each going to try to walk to camp and back - 74 miles! That is an average of 48 minutes per day throughout October.
We’re fundraising to help cover the costs so that every girl in Guides has the chance to go to camp, no matter their circumstances. This experience means so much to the Guides – it’s a chance to learn new skills, make friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
You can donate to a Guide individually in person or on here - our dual unit fundraising page. Please help us raise as much as possible so we can all enjoy the opportunity together. Any excess funds will go towards a practice residential nearby because a lot of us haven't been away with Guiding before.
Thank you for donating to and sharing our fundraiser,
