Scott Kron Jr Funeral Expense

On June 8th, our brother/son Scott Kron Jr ended up very ill. Vomiting couldn’t keep anything down and complained of severe stomach aches. Scott dealt with the pain until the 10th, he called an ambulance and on the 14th they decided when he got to Mercy to do a scope and found lesions on his liver. They also did a cat scan and MRI. They did a biopsy on Friday the 16th.  Scott was sedated once they cut him open on June 18th, he was having severe stomach pains still so they decided to go check it out to make sure he didn’t have dead intestines or anything else going on there. (June 18th surgery) The doctor told Tina and Monica that Scotts liver was really sick and he was very sick himself. The surgeon said everything looked good and he was no GI doctor but he was certain the liver was most definitely going to need a transplant. Scotts blood at this time was very thin and he just was turning for the worse. Scott was restrained because he tried to rip his ventilator and tubes out. Later that night Tina his mother received a phone call saying he was being transported to Strong memorial hospital in Rochester. This now put him over an hour away from his immediate family. Scotts step mother and stepsister were up by his side while he was struggling to stay alive. Shortly after Scott was at strong his kidneys started to fail and nurses called to inform Tina his mom of the risks but to let her know he now needed emergency dialysis in his neck. The nurse also told her that his potassium level needed to come down or else it would cause his heart to stop. His blood pressure dropped as well, and that was it the doctors tried to revive him and there was no such luck and all they could tell my mom was they were sorry.

Scott was just 24 years old and has a baby zander who isnt even a year old yet, scott spent his first fathers day sedated and died the following day. Anything left over from his funeral will be used for his son. Anything helps we lost my step dad a few years back. My mom is going through a tough time. Any other donations can be dropped off to Monica who is dealing with the funeral with Ashley and Felicia and Scotts girlfriend Michelle.
Scott was very active in the community with the angola fire dept.
