All-Girls Robotics Team

Lane Tech High School’s All-Girl Robotics team, Wired Women, seeks funds for the 2017-2018 season. The first and largest all-girl robotics team in Chicago, this competitive group is passionate about engineering a better future and making an impact on the world. With every donation you are helping the team buy and modify needed parts, travel to competitions, and prove themselves in the male-dominated arena of competitive robotics. “To us, robotics is an amazing way to spread a message that anyone can create something from nothing, no matter your background, race or gender… We are very committed to improving the way girls view themselves and helping them feel capable in the world.” Our goal is to raise a total of $5,000 for our competitions that begin in November.
