Our Mission:
Myself, my wife Ronnie, our oldest daughter Hannah, and the rest of our team from FBC Levelland will partner with Red Page Ministries, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization based in Lubbock, Texas. The mission of Red Page is to break the cycle of poverty in rural Romania. Red Page focuses on grassroots mission-based ministry as it works to transform Romania from the inside out, one rural community at a time. Through church, individual, and business partnerships, their goal is to empower poor communities to self-reliance through social welfare, education, through acts of kindness and love. Red Page has established relationships in a number of villiages where they are developing after-school programs, sports outreach programs, provide medical care, help start churches, and deliver much needed food, clothing, medicine, and aid to the local communities.
Our team is traveling to Romania to provide support for the Red Page vision in ministering to the rural Romania and building God's Kingdom there. We will be hosting daily sports camps and villiage humanitarian distributions. Also, we will have the opportunity to support and equip the pastor and his family in one of the local churches. Our goal is to help build a bridge between the local evangelical church and the people in the community, which is traditionally Orthodox.
Our Request:
Our team will be travelling July 14-23, 2014. There will be twenty of us total. The cost per person is $2750. FBC Levelland has more than graciously agreed to pay the way of any staff attending this mission effort, and has contributed partially to all participants who are members of the church. Therefore, we are partnering with friends and family in the following areas:
- Prayer Support -
"Finally, brothers, pray for us that the Lord's message may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not all have faith." 2 Thesalonians 3:1-2
A team of committed prayer warriors is vital and the most important way you can support us in our travels and work in Romania. We are looking for a team to committ daily to pray for God's work through our team. By joining us as a prayer warrior, you will be placed on and email list in which we will update regulary with special needs that you can share with your family and others that you share requests with regularly. Everyone who committs support at any level will be placed on our prayer support list.

We recognize that God is the source of all giving, and He is the one to praised. Above all, prayer is the priority above the giving of resources. Therefore, we depend upon God first through prayer to provide the financial needs of our mission. However, supporting the work of missionaries long term, or in this case short term, is a biblically supported and encourged practice.
You are to be faithful first to give towards the church family you live and serve with. Yet,for some of you, God will give extra in accordance to your obedience to give back to him through giving to other Kingdom efforts. It is our prayer that God will call you to prayerfully and financially support His work in Romania. Our team would be blessed and honored if you would obey God's call and give any amount that He lays on your heart to give.
You can do so by using a credit or debit card through this site, or mailing a check payable to First Baptist Church of Levelland. All check donations made directly to First Baptist Church do qualify as a charitable gift.
Please do not send cash and do not place the name of a person on the check itself.
