On March 22, 2014, tragedy struck this beautiful young family. A propane leak caused an explosion inside of their home leaving them all badly burned and fighting for their lives. All were life-flighted to various hospitals.
Lyman (21yrs.) is 48% burned on various parts of his body including his face, hands, arms and thighs. He may lose some function in his hands but we are hoping for the best! Lyman was able to get his wife out of the house and went back in for his baby girl. He is a true, true hero.
Samantha (19 yrs.) is 95% burned all over her body. She is still in critical condition. She is desperately fighting for her life as her body will not retain fluids.
Sweet baby Emery (8 mo.) is 28% burned mostly on her hands. She also has burns on her face and right leg. Dr.'s are desperately trying to save her hands!
Desiree (15 yrs.) Samantha's cousin that was spending the night with them the night before the explosion is 15% burned mostly on her hands and face. She is stable and responsive. Her recovery has been jump started, and she is already walking and talking!
Their house and all their belongings were completely burned up.
This sweet family has a LONG road ahead of them and could use all the help they can get. Every little bit helps!
